Cities to visit to outside of Seoul, South Korea : Yeosu

Hi, guys! Today, I'm going to show you my hometown, Yeosu of South Korea.
It's getting popular city among the Korean people!

So on the map of South Korea, the red circle is Yeosu and Yellow one is Seoul.
It takes 4 and half hours by a bus and it takes 3:15 hours by a train(KTX).
It's pretty far from Seoul but if you wanna look up the countryside of South Korea, it's worth to go there!


I will recommend you some places that you should go in Yeosu, South Korea!





















1. Manseong-ri Black Sand Beach

Manseongni Black Sand Beach is located 3 kilometers to the north along the coastal road from Yeosu Station. and you can also find the place that you can do the paragliding!

and if you go there, you should get a hot dog in there! That place is pretty famous with people who lives in Yeosu. and I also really like that lol



























2. Geumodo Island

I highly recommend this place. There's the track road around that island. and the scenery is absolutely beautiful!

You need to take the ship to go there from Yeosu port.





















3. Dolsan bridge

Yeosu is famous by the night view! If you say that you are going to Yeosu to Korean people, they will sing the one of songs, Yeosu night sea.

Dosan bridge is so pretty at night time!!





















4. Jong-po ocean park

This place is getting popular lately!! Especially, at the night time.  There's a lot of street food stores and people drinking and listening to music with the pretty ocean view.

During the summer season, there's a lot of buskers!












5. Hanhwa Aqua Planet Yeosu & Expo Ocean Park

Hanhwa Aqua Planet Yeosu is the second largest aquarium in Korea. and there are approximately 34,000 marine organisms of about 280 species including rare animals such as beluga (white whale) and baikal seal.

There was an expo in Yeosu in 2012. now there's not many places you can go inside but you can watch the Big-O show(which is the circle one with that picture), and there's teddy bear museum!

and I went to the insaeng sajinghan with my friends, it was so much fun to take a lot of pictures!!

There's a lot of different themes of studios and you can take pictures by yourself!
and there's also have the camera so if you bring your SD card, you can use the cameras in there.


It costs 16,000 won if you buy the ticket on the internet!














6. Yeosu Maritime Cable Car

There's a lot of beautiful spots with the sea. and it's worth to get in the cable car at the night time and day time!
























7. O-dong-do island

This island is my favorite place in Yeosu. I used to go there with my friends to take pictures and pretended like a traveller lol.
It's an island but you don't need to take a boat to go there.























8. Bangjukpo Beach

Near the beach, there's Maritime & Fisheries Science Museum. It's not that interesting place but if you on your way to go to Hyangiram, it's worth to enjoy the view!

























9. Yeosu mural village

Near the  Jong-po ocean park, there's mural village. Actually, you can easily find the village like that in Korea!
























10. Woong-cheon beach

There's the special road that you can go to the small island. and it disappears when the water comes up. This spot is good to take an unique pictures.

This picture is also woongcheon beach. I really like beaches in Yeosu. It looks so calm and peaceful!



Well, that's all of places that I wanted to show you guys for today!
It would be uncomfortable to travel to the countryside of the other countries but you can see the real life of local people!
