Places to go in Busan, South Korea : Beomeosa temple (부산 가볼만한 곳 : 범어사)

Today, I'm gonna show you the old temple in Busan, South Korea.
This place is outlying of Busan. But it's worth to go there!



안녕하세요 여러분!
오늘은 부산 외곽지역에 있는 관광지 중 한곳인 범어사를 소개해드리려고 해요!
전부터 가보고 싶었는데 이제야 다녀왔네요!

Beomeosa Temple is located at the edge of Mt. Geumjeongsan, a famous mountain in Busan. About 1,300 years ago it was constructed by monk Ui Sang in the 18th year (678) of King Munmu (reign 661~681) of the Silla Kingdom (the kingdom mainly occupied the Gyeongsang-do Province region in 678A.D.). In the geography book 'Donggukyeojiseungram' the origin of Beomeosa Temple is written as follows:
"There is a well on the top of Mt. Geumjeongsan and the water of that well is gold. The golden fish in the well rode the colorful clouds and came down from the sky. This is why the mountain is named Geumsaem (gold well) and the temple is named 'fish from heaven'."

범어사는 금정산에 위치한 절인데요! 1300년전 신라시대에 지어진 건물이에요!

It looks like bulguksa! Temples in Korea are looks like the park so it's good to walk around.


뭔가 가는 길이 불국사와 비슷한 느낌이 드네요!
한국에 있는 절은 뭔가 공원같은 느낌이 들어서 둘러보기에 좋은거 같아요.

When I think about Busan, I alway thought about gwanganli or haeundae or something like that. But there's a lot of places that you can go in Busan.


부산 하면 떠오르는 곳이 광안리나 해운대 아니면 남포동 이런곳 밖에 없었지만
부산이 생각보다 관광지가 많이 있는 곳이더라구요!!
아직도 제 여행 리스트에는 부산에 가볼만한 곳이 너무나 많이 있답니다!

The weather was great when I went there! So it looked more beautiful.

제가 갔을 때는 다행히 날씨도 너무 좋았어서 더욱 더 아름다워 보였어요!

I really like the picture of the roof(?) When I go to the old style buildings in korea.
and it was a bit different compared to other temples!

저는 옛날 방식으로 지어진 건물들을 보면 천장에 그려진 문양이 너무나 좋더라구요.
범어사는 조금 다른 그림 문양들이 많이 있었는데 그게 다른 절들과 다른 모습처럼 보이는 요소 중에 하나였어요!

And it looks morea beautiful with mountains!

그리고 금정산이 주위에 둘러싸여있어서 풍경이 더욱 더 아름다웠답니다 :)

I met this lovely cat in there. I don't know this cat is stray cat or the monks are caring that cat. But he was so friendly!!


범어사에서 되게 귀여운 고양이를 만났는데 절에서 키우는 고양이인지 아니면 길고양이인지는 모르겠지만 되게 사람을 안무서워해서 한참을 고양이랑 놀았어요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

제가 고양이를 너무 좋아해서 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

I really liked the atmosphere in there. The sounds of the wind bell. It made me calm and peaceful.



범어사에 가면 풍경소리가 아주 좋은거 같아요. 마음이 평화로워지고!!

Beomeosa tepmle looked like a bit different compared other temples. It looked like the Indian buildings(?).


다른 절들과는 달리 뭔가 분위기가 조금 달랐었어요! 제가 종교가 불교가 아니라서 전문 용어로 설명을 할 수는 없지만 뭔가 한국적인 절의 느낌이 안 들었다고 해야할까요?

There's not many people so it was really nice to went around.


사람들도 많이 있지 않았어서 조용하게 둘러볼 수 있는 곳이었던 것 같아요.

I feel weird when I find the old tree. Casue they could see the flow of the time. Like the fast of the time, around that tree, people wore the different clothes and ridden horses or something like that.

    
나이가 많아보이는 나무. 저는 가끔은 오래된 나무를 보면 드는 생각이 저 나무는 시대의 흐름을 다 봐왔을거 아니에요? 저 나무 주위를 지나다녔던 사람들의 옷차림이나 마차 혹은 말을 타고 다니던 사람들 등등.. 그러한 것들을 상상하게 되는거 같아요 오래된 나무를 보면!
                                                                                                                  

There's a river near the temple. and it was so clean and cold!
The weather is getting hotter so some of people were in there to hangout and eating some foods in there.


범어사 옆쪽에 계곡도 있었는데 물이 되게 깨끗하고 시원했어요!
날이 너무 더웠어서 발을 담궜는데 너무너무 좋더라구요 >_<!

밑으로 내려가면 먹거리촌도 많이 있고 계곡쪽에서 사람들이 음식을 먹고 있는 모습이 벌써 보였어요!

There's the bus stop between exits 5 and 7.(Beomeosa subway station, line number 1) and Ride the number 90 bus and get off when the driver say you're in Beomeosa! (범어사 매표소 입구 Beomeosa maepyoso ip-gu)



범어사역 5번 출구와 7번 출구 사이의 골목길로 쭉 올라가시면 90번 버스 타는 곳이 있어요! 그거 타서 범어사 매표소 입구에서 내리시면 되요~
